Is This What You're Lookin' For?

1.Lahore Mujra
2.Pakistan Mujra Nude
3.Lahore Nude Mujra
4.Heera Mandi
5.Pakistan Nude

Well I'm sorry, but the hook for which you fell line and sinker (salivating sod) is this.

Sorry for the interruption, please continue with your search.

For those who are interested in news about a clothed Meera, Mid Day reports that she's moved lock, stock and rubber ducky from Karachi to Dubai. The alleged reason? "She is extremely disgruntled with certain sections of the Pakistan film industry that snubbed her at their National Film Awards cermony. ... Certain people in the film industry staged a walkout and boycotted the function the moment I was given the award. It was an extremely prestigious award given by the Government of Pakistan but they said I didn't deserve it. The next day, they called a press conference and returned thheir awards."

(The real reason? Karachi isn't, well, the "funnest." The weather is great and the people lovely, but there is nothing to do if you're young, female and don't want to end up in jail. The only people out after 5 p.m. are clusters of men; the only seaside fun is throwing fries at the mongoose-snake combinations, which trawl the beach with their owners; and if you really want to live it up you visit the ice cream parlour and ask for a double chocolate in a waffle cone.In short, nothing that would contain the attentions of the glorious Meera and her multicoloured interests.)

For those who doubt Meera's intentions (and how could you? have you seen that face?) she tells us: "I would rather live in Dubai and work in the film industry in India. I love Bollywood. I have already applied for a residential permit in Dubai and bought a two-bedroom flat and a car there."

So when will Lucky Ramu see Meera next? "In Lucky Ali's Kasak and Afsal Ahmed's Umrao Jaan Aada." (Who? What? Never mind. Can't hardly wait.)

i suggest you visit some of these blogs which show that karachi is quite to the contrary of what you describe. it may not be very safe or the "funnest" but these people -all young women - seem to quite enjoy their lives despite everything -

Madhu, thank you for the links.
Perhaps I should have added this disclaimer: "No offense is meant to people living in Karachi, who know people who live in Karachi, or read blogs written by people in Karachi." However, I believe that it's a wonderful city for some and quite the opposite for others, just as most cities, and in fact people, are. Different places mean different things to different people.
However, this is my blog and my opinion, and in my opinion it is neither safe no fun.
If it makes you feel better, I don't think Delhi is either safe or fun and in fact, apart from Mumbai (where I live) and Goa (where I'm from), I tend to believe that about most places in India.

i see your point and i was going to comment on some other things. but your statement - my blog, my opinion - makes me feel that nothing is open to constructive debate so i shall withhold what i wanted to say. take care.

Of course it's open for "constructive" debate. I love debates!
